Alarm clock
For a deposit of CHF 20, you can borrow an alarm clock from the reception desk.
Arrival/Departure
We kindly ask you to leave your room before 10:00 am on the day of departure so that it can be made available to the new arrival before 3:00 pm.
Bathrobe
Bathrobes are at your disposal and can be found in your room, slippers can be asked for at the reception desk in the wellness area.

In the basement there is a games room for the little ones and a mini cinema. There is also a billiard table, table tennis, air hockey, pinball machines, two Playstations and a darts room. Table tennis rackets and balls can be borrowed at the reception desk for a deposit of CHF 10 in cash.

Cross-country skiing
The Engadine is considered a paradise for cross-country skiing. Countless kilometres of cross-country ski trails of all degrees of difficulty are available. You will find the start of the cross-country ski run at the "Muot Marias" sports ground or at the barrier between the "Maria" and "Baselgia" districts. You can obtain the cross-country ski pass at the tourist office or at the checkpoints of the cross-country ski run.
Dogs
5 rooms are available for dog owners with an additional charge of CHF 25 per night. Dogs must be registered at the time of booking. Max. 1 dog per room. Dogs are not allowed in the dining room and wellness area, but are permitted in the Schimgiot Blov Brasserie.

The hotel is not responsible for theft, parking damage, ski damage and accidents.

Wi-Fi is available free of charge throughout the hotel. You will find access in the "Essentials in a nut shell" information sheet.
Laundry
There is a laundry basket in your room. Hang it with the complete list on the bathroom door. Our maids will take care of it. Normally your laundry will be returned clean within 24 hours.
Luggage transport
If you are travelling by public transport, you can use the SBB luggage transport service. You can obtain the necessary luggage tickets from Sils Tourismus. You can leave your luggage in the luggage room of the garage, signposted "Abgehendes Gepäck SBB".
Mountain railway and public transport included in summer
Scope: Postal bus (except Palm Express): to Chiavenna and Soglio. Public transport companies: ENGADIN BUS, PostBus, local bus, Rhaetian Railway (2nd class). Routes: Cinuos-chel/Brail - Maloja, St. Moritz - Pontresina - Alp Grüm, St. Moritz - Samedan - Pontresina, Bever - Spinas
Night service
Between 10 p.m. and 7.30 a.m. the reception is not occupied. In case of emergency after our bar has already closed, please dial (0) 079 391 78 50. If there is an acute emergency, press the SOS button or dial the emergency numbers 144 (from the hotel room, dial 0 in advance, e.g. 0144).
Payment
You can pay your room bill before 9.30 pm the night before departure or from 7.30 am on the day of departure. We accept cash (CHF and EUR), EC-Direct, Postcard, Mastercard and Visa. You can also pay a maximum of 50% of your hotel bill with Reka cheques.

Pillows, duvets and blankets
If you would like another pillow, if you need an extra blanket, a second duvet or something similar, please make a note of this on the Post-it on the mirror or let the reception know.

We are at your disposal every day from 7:30 am to 10:00 pm.
Rental of sports equipment
You can rent our own electric bikes, SUP and snowshoes with sticks directly at the reception. In collaboration with Fainera-Sport, we can provide you with any type of bike. Information and prices can be obtained at the reception or directly from La Fainera Sport by tel. +41 81 826 55 02. The sports shops Giovanoli in the centre of the village, tel. +41 81 826 52 94, and La Fainera at the entrance of the village have a wide range of rental equipment for skiers, cross-country skiers, hikers, cyclists, etc.
Room key
The main door and the garage door are closed between 10:00 pm and 7:30 am. Please take your key with you if you return to the hotel after 10:00 pm.
Safe
In the wardrobe you will find a safe for valuables. We kindly ask you to keep cash, jewellery and other valuables of any kind in the safe.

Ski
The easiest to reach is the Furtschellas / Corvatsch ski area. Every 20 minutes the free ski bus takes you from the carriage square in front of the hotel to the valley station and back (only in winter). Other ski areas are Corviglia (Signalbahn or Chantarella), Diavolezza and Lagalb. All areas are easily accessible by the Engadine bus. Ski passes and a piste map are available at reception.

Ski, shoe and bike room
At the entrance, in the basement, you will find the ski, shoe and bike room. You can open it with your room card. To avoid any confusion, we recommend that you label or mark all items left in the room.
Ski Pass
Sleep + Ski:
Skipass inclusive for CHF 45.-
This special offer is valid per person/day for the duration of your stay at a participating hotel throughout the entire winter season. (only bookable for the entire duration of stay)
The Sleep + Ski pass can be purchased directly at the reception.

Book early and benefit. Purchase your ski pass at least 15 days before your first day of skiing and get discounts of up to 30% – even during the high season. Prices for day tickets and multi-day tickets vary according to demand on a particular day of validity.
Shoe cleaning machine
Available free of charge in the shoe room.
Smoking
Our entire establishment is smoke-free. We therefore recommend that smokers reserve a room with a balcony. Ashtrays are located in front of the main entrance or, especially on very cold days, in the garage. Here you are welcome to enjoy your cigarette. We charge a cleaning fee of CHF 150.00 for the cleaning of a smoked room.
