Moutain bike transport: Rhaetian Railway
Unfortunately, bike transport is not possible on the Bernina and Glacier Express. In other trains of the Rhaetian Railway, up to 6 mountain bikes are generally transported without any problems as self-loading bikes. Please enquire at www.sbb.ch/en/ whether bikes are permitted on the selected train and inform the train attendants about the bike transport and your exit station. The staff of the Rhaetian Railway will be on hand to help you and ensure that your bike is unloaded safely.

Groups
For groups of 10 or more people, advance reservation is required at least 48 hours before departure at the station or by calling the SBB Rail Service on 0900 300 300. Groups are not permitted to load their bikes themselves. In this case, the bikes must be checked in as luggage and will be transported in a protective cover to any serviced station.
Bike service
The bike can be checked in until 19h00 or during the opening hours of the station counter on the day before departure and collected from 9h00 on the day after arrival. The bike service is offered at all serviced railway stations. This bike transport costs CHF 18.- per bike.

Mountain bike transport: Postbus Graubünden
During the summer season, Postbuses operate with bike racks at the rear of the vehicle (except for minibuses), which can transport up to 5 mountain bikes. The bicycle must be loaded and accompanied by the owner himself. There is no guarantee that the bike will be carried along and if the bike cannot be carried for capacity reasons, it will be transported by the nearest post bus.
A valid ticket must be purchased for the mountain bike:

On some Postbus lines, bicycle transport is subject to reservation or restricted:
- Route St. Moritz - Menaggio - Lugano (Palm Express)
Mountain bikes are not transported on this line. - Route St. Moritz - Maloja - Chiavenna
On this line up to 5 mountain bikes are transported on the rear of the vehicle. - Route St. Moritz - Julier - Chur
On this line up to 5 mountain bikes are transported on the rear of the vehicle. - Route Zernez - Müstair - Malles/Mals
On this line, bicycle reservations are required until 18h00 the evening before by e-mail to [email protected] or by telephone at +41 848 071 081 (Monday to Friday: 08h00-17h00 / Saturday: 08h00-12h00 and 13h30-17h00). There is no guarantee that you will be able to take the equipment with you. Bicycles are not carried on the Engadin-Meran-Route-Express (courses 107 and 118). - Routes Chur region
Engadin Bus transports electric bikes in the bus, provided there is enough space in the vehicle and the passengers are not impaired (please check before buying a ticket). Reservations are not possible and there is no guarantee that you can take your bike with you. - Route Chur - San Bernardino - Bellinzona (fast line)
On this route, bicycle transport is limited. Alternatively, the regional courses Thusis - San Bernardino - Bellinzona can be used.

Group rates apply for groups of 10 or more people. Reservations for 6 bikes or more must be made by e-mail to [email protected] or by telephone at +41 848 071 081 (Monday to Friday: 08h00-17h00 / Saturday: 08h00-12h00 and 13h30-17h00) by the evening before at 18h00. Special trailers are available for this bicycle transport.

Mountain bike transport: Engadin Bus
Engadin Bus transports electric bikes in the bus, provided there is enough space in the vehicle and the passengers are not impaired (please check before buying a ticket). The bike must be accompanied by the owner and have a valid ticket.
SBB bike day tickets are valid on the entire Engadin Bus network.
